2 cyclists hurt in hit-and-run on Lookout Mountain JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) -- Colorado State Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run that happened Saturday afternoon on Lookout Mountain.Investigators said two cyclists were hit, and the driver of a green Ford Mustang fled the scene. The two cyclists were hurt, one with serious and the other with minor injuries. Boulder Police respond to multiple bomb threats at Jewish synagogues CSP said one car slowed down and the green Ford Mustang behind it drove around in the opposite lane to pass it, striking both cyclists.Investigators said the Mustang was later found abandoned, but they have an idea who was responsible."I looked down and I could see there was a blue vehicle and a green vehicle," Paul Mourer said.Mourer was riding past another group of cyclists around a hairpin turn near where it happened."I yelled to them, 'Hey watch out there's some aggressive drivers down there,'" Mourer said.That didn't stop one of those drivers from striking two cyclists on the road, driving toward ...

Police arrest 5th student involved in violent attack near Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Police arrested a fifth person involved in a fight among students near a Broward County high school and said their work is not done yet.Jahmeer Beauziel, 17, turned himself in to Coral Springs Police on Monday morning.It stemmed from the video of a fight in a parking lot across the street from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.The victim was body-slammed backward and taken to the hospital.Beauziel is the fifth arrest and was taken to the juvenile assessment center for processing.Investigators however are still searching for a sixth person from this fight. The other teens arrested in this fight have been ordered by a judge to be confined to their homes as part of a home detention for three weeks.If you have any information on this, you are urged to call the police.

Storm pummels Massachusetts: 89-year-old man killed when tree falls on trailer, hundreds of thousands without power A man was killed during the strong storm in Massachusetts on Monday, as a tree collapsed on his trailer amid high wind gusts and heavy rain.The powerful storm has been toppling trees and power lines, sparking power outages across the state and especially the South Shore in Plymouth County — where police responded to this fatal incident.Hanover Police at around 9:47 a.m. received a 911 call that a large tree had fallen outside of the workplace at 99 Industrial Way.The tree had collapsed on a small travel trailer and a man was trapped inside, the caller told police.Hanover first responders were able to free the man from the trailer.
